Paul Lichtenberg, PhD
Paul Lichtenberg, PhD is co-founder of Iris with his wife, Sibylle. Clinical psychologist in full-time private practice in Manhattan for 25 years, Paul's integral therapeutic vision has led him across many psychological and spiritual landscapes with the aim of contributing wisdom, knowledge, and practices to our larger collective community life.
Paul describes his therapeutic as a Buddhistically-inspired contemporary relational psychoanalytic process and practice. In Iris, Paul envisioned a community experiment in which a sense of place intersects or interconnects with diverse creative bodymind healing practices, artistic expression, environmental awareness, relationship building, and sanctuary.
Paul's joy of gardening and mild obsession with the land at Iris naturally lent itself to his beloved role as designer and gardener of the Iris landscape.
